Lanark County Tourism
This is the regional association for tourism in this area. The area was developed when the Rideau Canal was built. Scottish stone masons created some of the 140 designated heritage buildings in the region. The area is also known as the Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario, and is a world heritage destination.
